Day 1 – Palaces, Temples & Lakeside Charm
Morning : City Palace
Start your day with with the iconic City Palace. It is located on the east side of Lake Pichola. The palace was started by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559. The palace is built with white marble and granite stones. It is a mix of Rajasthani and Mughal styles. It has beautiful balconies (jharokhas), big domes, courtyards, arches, and decorated rooms. Explore its museums, courtyards, and terraces for stunning lake views.

Mid-Morning : Explore Jagdish Temple and Bagore ki Haveli
Jagdish Temple: It is located just outside the main gate of the city palace udaipur. It stands tall on a high platform, and visitors need to climb around 32 marble steps to reach the main shrine.
Bagore ki Haveli : It is located on the Gangaur Ghat of Lake Pichola. Built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, It was the residence of Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore. Today it has been converted into a museum showcasing the royal lifestyle of Mewar rulers. It has over 100 rooms displaying royal costumes, traditional Rajasthani jewelry, antique furniture, puppets, paintings etc. It also has a special section of of beautiful glasswork and mirror art.
Afternoon : Local Markets of Udaipur
Explore the vibrant local markets of Udaipur
Hathi Pol Bazaar : Known for Rajasthani miniature paintings, handicrafts, and folk art. It is a great place to buy authentic local artwork.
Bada Bazaar : Here you can get textiles, silver jewelry, and traditional turbans.
Bapu Bazaar : It offers everything from clothes and footwear to gadgets and household items.
Mochiwada Bazaar : Here you can get traditional Rajasthani juttis (handcrafted footwear) in colorful designs and patterns.
Evening : FatehSagar Lake
Fatehsagar Lake is not just a waterbody – It is the heartbeat of Udaipur. Surrounded by the aravalli hills, It is one of the most beautiful and peaceful lakes in Udaipur. You can take a take a boat ride across the calm blue waters while enjoying stunning views of the Aravalli Hills. You can enjoy local food at Fatehsagar like Masala Bhutta , Kulhad Coffee , Pav Bhaji, Maggi, Sandwiches etc. Don’t miss the Udaipur sunset — it’s one of the most romantic experiences in Udaipur.

Day 2 – Forts, Gardens & Sunset Views
Morning : Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace)
Start your day with a drive to Sajjangarh Fort, also known as the Monsoon Palace, located on a hilltop about 5 km from the city center. The main highlight of Sajjangarh is its unmatched 360° view of the city. From the top, you can see Lake Pichola, Fatehsagar Lake, the Aravalli Hills. The fort is built in Rajput architectural style, made of white marble, with arched balconies, domes, and ornate jharokhas. There’s also a small biological park and zoo nearby — great for families and kids. Sajjangarh is a must-visit for every traveler in Udaipur.
Tip: Reach early morning to avoid crowds and get the best lighting for photos.

Mid-Morning: Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens)
Next, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari, It is a beautiful royal garden built by Maharana Sangram Singh II in the 18th century for the queen and her companions. It has fountains, lotus pools, marble elephants, and flower beds- all symbolizing royal leisure.

Afternoon : Vintage Car Museum
Vintage Car Museum : The museum showcases 20+ rare vintage cars owned by the Mewar royal family of Udaipur. Each car represents the royal lifestyle of the 20th century. It still has the original workshop, petrol pump, and garage setup from the 1900s. It is a great place to visit for car enthusiasts. The museum is next to Gulab Bagh (Sajjan Niwas Garden).
Evening : Doodh Talai & Ropeway to Karni Mata Temple
Head to doodh talai , It is a small, scenic lake surrounded by lush gardens and viewpoints. There are two beautiful gardens Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Park and Manik Lal Verma Garden. Then you can visit Karni Mata temple. It is located at the top offering stunning views of Udaipur city, Lake Pichola, and City Palace below. You can reach the temple in two ways : By ropeway or by Trekking. The Ropeway can be accessed from Deen Dayal Park and if you wish to choose the trek path you can access it from the Manik lal Verma Park ( Doodh Talai ). This is one of the best photo points in Udaipur — especially during sunrise or sunset. When you come down, visit Doodh Talai Musical Fountain Garden. Here you can find a musical fountain, where water jets dance to music and colorful lights.

Day 3 – Hills, Lakes & Cityside Calm
Morning : Bahubali Hills
Bahubali Hills is one of Udaipur’s most stunning viewpoints. It is located near Badi lake, about 15 km from the city center. It has become a favorite sunrise and sunset spot for nature lovers. You can reach here by car, scooter, or local cab. Bahu Bali Hills offers 360° panoramic views of the Aravalli Mountains, Badi Lake, and surrounding valleys. It is one of the most Instagram-worthy locations in Udaipur.

Mid-Morning: Badi Lake (Tiger Lake)
It is located just a few minutes away from the Bahubali Hills. It is one of the peaceful and beautiful lakes in udaipur. It is perfect for a quiet morning walk , a bit of photography, or even a small picnic with friends.
Afternoon : Gulab Bagh
Next , visit the Gulab bagh — also known as Sajjan Niwas Garden. The garden is spread over more than 100 acres. It is a blend of history, nature, and charm. The toy train in Gulab Bagh add a playful touch, making Gulab Bagh a favorite for families and kids. you will get so much peaceful vibes here that it almost feels like time slows down.
Evening : Gangaur Ghat, Ambrai Ghat, and Lal Ghat
